Meetings on Iraq and Democrats vs. Democrats

I have just finish watching CNN Politics daily Podcast and The main event of today was the meetin of the Armed Services Committee and General Petraeus about the war in Irar. After watching pieces of the meeting I begin to wonder. Was this a meeting on how to war was going, or was this a meeting on how three Presidential Candidates have different views of how the war is going. The issues at hand were not even the issues brought up in the news.

I think that this meeting should have excluded these three candidates should have been excluded from this meeting today. Instead of using the meeting as it should have been used it was used to promote their feelings on the war.We already know John McCain wants to stay in until he feels the war has been won, which I believe can not be one, as do many. And we already know Obama and Clinton want to pull out of Iraq. Lets just hold the campaigning for one day and use this to really get a feel of what is going on in this country.

Second thing I want to talk about is the D vs D race going on. Obama and Clinton need to be stopped. Something has to be done before this Party tears itself into two parties. Right now if someone didn't know any better they would think that these two were running from opposite sides of the fence. They are tearing each other from limb to limb.

Both Obama and Clinton should sit back and think what if. What if I am not the Presidential Nominee. And I just through this person under the bus. And they are in the same party. Now if you look at all the bad things that have been said about Obama since this campiagn began and you look at all the bad things that have been said about Clinton, where have the come from? They have come from each other, who are running in the exact same party.

If the democrats do not want to lose another year the NEED to stop this madness. While they are ripping each other apart and feeding it to the dogs what is John McCain doing. Hes going around scratching the dogs behind the ear. And Who is the Dog gonna go to when its time to get pet. Its going to go to the one with the most affection. And right now Obama and Clinton are letting McCain do all the petting, while they help out his campiagn for terrorising the Democratic Party.
I also saw a very clever Obama ad today. It wasn't on TV or anything, because frankly we dont see any Presidential commercials on TV in Canada. The cable companies here flick over to a commerical for their services whenever one comes on. You know its supposed to be there because you see the first half a second of the commercial and then it flicks to a commercial on Rogers Homephone or something of that sort. But its a mash-up of the 1984 Apple's Super-Bowl commercial. If you want to see it check it out here.
